Syed actively supports charities and is a passionate fundraiser.
In 2021, In memory of his beloved sister Momtaj, Syed formed Momtaj Foundation.The grassroots organisation empowers single-parent families in impoverished communities by helping improve education, health, and quality of life by providing food, medication, training, and education funding.
He is also an ambassador for leading charities such as Water Aid, Human Appeal and MACMILLAN Cancer Research. Over the past two decades, he has donated and raised significant funds for several charities, impacting lives and communities globally.
Further, Syed has served as a non-Executive Board Director of RESTLESS BEINGS, an international human rights organisation working with some of the most marginalised communities globally.
He was awarded Bart’s NHS Apprenticeships Ambassador for his entrepreneurial and charitable work with the community. His brief was to raise awareness, attract and inspire the best local talent and help the Programme meet its recruitment targets. The programme is celebrated annually with keynotes and Awards handed out by Syed and Bart’s NHS Chief Executive, Alwen William, amongst other special guests.
