NHS Apprenticeships Ambassador
Syed is proud of his roots as having been born to hard-working Bangladeshi Parents and brought up in Tower Hamlets. He was awarded Bart’s NHS Apprenticeships Ambassador for his entrepreneurial and charitable work with the community. His brief was to raise awareness, attract and inspire the best local talent and help the Programme meet its recruitment targets. The programme is celebrated annually with keynotes and Awards handed out by Syed and Bart’s NHS Chief Executive, Alwen William amongst other special guests.
Syed is honoured to have launched several local entrepreneurial initiatives such “I Inspire” and he served as a non Executive Board Director of Restless Beings, an international human rights organization founded in East London as a start-up not for profit, now working with some of the most marginalized communities in the world.
“you made the event really special, thanks again”
